About

I read in a book once that how you feel about food is how you feel about life. And well... I couldn't agree more. Food is meant to be loved; meant to be celebrated; meant to be shared. There are days that are slapped together like a PB&J for dinner and others that are slow-cooked to perfection like your mother's Sunday roast. Food has come to be an expression of myself, which is why I'm committing to making one new recipe each week. And share it. With you.

Why Cinnamonaholic you ask? Well, there are several reasons. The most obvious is that I add cinnamon to (almost) everything. But it's also an expression of how I cook. It's a little sweet, it's a little spicy, and it adds a kick to anything it touches. My coffee, my pork tenderloin, even my roasted vegetables benefit from the spice. It also has great health benefits, which I strive to maintain in most of my dishes. Did you know it actually slows the absorption of sugar in your body? Yep, sure does.

So thanks for joining me on my journey to become a less-amateur amateur cook. I realize my photography isn't quite here yet, but I do hope to get better.

I'd love to hear from you! Email recipe love to cinnamonaholic(at)gmail(dot)com.

Cheers!
